As Much as I love my Dictaorship there is a trend towards demoracy in the house which I greatly oppose. To mantain the balance of power I will have to make a call in the am as to whats gonna happen. They were all put off at the last outing didn't like the shingle Bank in a F5 and they got wet. fog just about capped it! in the little one. So Dunno if I'll be boating will see. But will come past anyway and cry at any missed oppertuity.

Had a cool day, Tony's boat is awesome!
Thanks again for the ride Tony, and also to Adam for letting me take the cat for a spin.

Managed to get a few shots:

Today could have been pretty good for me, except that my newly modified water pickups appear to be a little too much for my sea strainers, as after a great run down Southamptom water with TD, one of them decided enough was enough, and let go, causing al sorts of aggro, and effectively bringing my day to an early close

"Forced into a blow-up" as Mr Pascoe would say!

However, we did get a chance to try the on-board camera set-up we've been working on, which seems to work pretty well, as you can see in This video (24 meg)

which shows nicely the bit where my cooling 'stops'!

Anyone who used to watch M.A.S.H. will reccognise my co pilot!

Yeah, scoop pressure blew the fkkn strainer lid clean off!

Time for new strainers me thinks! May also reduce some of the scoop effect, as I appear to have gone from the sublime, to the ridiculous! (overheating through poor scoop effect at high speed, to this)

Gav, I wasn't all that happy having to watch TD piss orf darn the Solent, as I turned round and headed back home on one motah

We did eventually get things going again, and ran out over to Cowes, but at a greatly reduced speed in order to avoid another sea strainer 'event'.

This gave Mr Truck a chance to have a crack at the wheel.

A bizarre thing happened, at some point on out first trip down the river/southampton water, we must have picked up a clump of seaweed, and it's small resident crab in the strainer, when the strainer did it's jack in the box impression, it deposited all it's contents over and around the engines...nice. But it wasn't untill I was cleaning out the engine bay in the evening, that I found the tiny crab wandering about in my bilge!...amazing. That Crab must a had a fkkn wild ride for a while there!

Another short video (11.4 meg)

We were doing a snifter under 80 in the last shot I posted, and my face was flapping around like a dog with it's head out the window.

Some of the ribsters will hopefully have some good flypast shots.
