Nothing wrong with a thunderstorm, force 5 winds gusting to force 6. Should not have postponed. I would have liked to see the boats doing the poker run today. I would be watching them from the shore. laughing.....

They're changing their mind now.
At 6:45 weather was nice, sunny, no wind or cloud. Then it all went pants! Strong wind, gusting about 18 knots, and constant rain.
By the time we got off the water at about 16:00, wind was getting stronger, and we'd already heard 1 Mayday! Good call!!

Probably a rib!

sounds like we did ok.

BTW, don't you go taking my Mary out in bad weather! you look after her now.

If the conditions are looking a little dangerous, she can always jump board my nice safe hard boat.

Hi Guys,
have been busy as hell and internet has been playing up so haven't been able to say much.
Was going to get in touch with Gill and let her know that I'd be there in the batboat because Phantom hasn't gone to plan but then heard that it had been moved forward a week.
Unfortunately I've got to work this coming Saturday so won't be able to make it, I guess the first person on the waiting list can jump in my place if they're ready.
Hope you all have fun,
Max

I think from memory, the party is intended to start around 7, and will go on untill we're all fed with taking the piss out of Chaos, so about 5am.
