Sark to Jersey Guard boat wanted

"Hi All

This is a bit of a last minute plea to any boat owners out there!

I’m competing in this year’s Sark to Jersey rowing race which falls on Saturday 10 July.

Our guard boat has unfortunately pulled out! I wondered if there were any boat owners out there that may be sympathetic (to a Jerseyman and Australian…) and offer their services for the day? The guard would need to tow us from Jersey’s north coast to Sark on the morning and then shadow us from the start line in Sark on the crossing to Bonne Nuit in Jersey (commencing c 1.00pm). Fuel will be paid by us (unless it’s a 65‘ Sunseeker…!).
