Just a small selection from of the "Pirates" fun day last Saturday. From the way some of those are dressed you would think we were in Miami!

Tim has just confirmed that this great pic was the staggered start of the Pirate fleet down at Hurst. Brilliant picture from a long way off.

I just read your new updated website Mike, good for you mate.
I think back and remember that some of the other "association " started with the same goal, I hope they don't get at you as they have with all the other club, don't let the buggers grind you down mate and good luck.

Thanks for the kind words Biffer but "they" haven't been able to grind me down so far but it hasn't been for the want of trying!

Poker Rallies are a great idea and have been around now on the South Coast for about 20 years. It's obviously time for them to happen again as everyone had so much fun at the last one in July. The good news is that I must have had 12 or so emails all asking for another one and soon. The other good news is that several guys and a young lady have asked if they can help so of course Vee and I have said YES, come on in and organise the next one and the one after that and so they are!

Time to step back and let the younger generation have a go.

Just one last point, these Rallies are for all ages, we had young guys aged around 20 and a couple of 70yr old's running their boats all going hell for leather (and Biffer a couple of guy's called Clayton!). So good to see the big grins on their faces at the end.
