Yeh had a great time thanks, talked bollix for a couple of hours and had an excellent sirloin steak at Shamrock.

Didn't actually go boating, as despite confirming that my boat could be launched and getting the following reply.....

Still, the money I saved on launching and fuel paid not only for my lunch, but also the house/dog sitter that I had to employ to enable me to go boating...or not!!!!!

What you might call a bit of a f**k up!

We got post crossover, and since you'd already replied, asking if you'd forgotten the bbq didn't really make sense to the flow of it all.

I'm quite chuffed about my wasted day, and 150 mile round trip + wasted fuel, for nowt aswel , not to mention getting all the covers off, putting the props on, getting the frost heaters & wiring out, all in the freezing cold, just so I could put it all back 2 hours later

That's very kind Stu, but not really the point, TD and I bought our boats coz we like them, and like going fast, and enjoy using them.

Part of the plan was, as it was a very crisp, clear day, to do a bit of photography whilst out (of each uvvers boats).

Sunday's missunderstandings

Well, the Guys (and dolls) at Drivers, couldn't have been more appologetic today, and TD and I got a little sweetener, in the form of some free 'lifts' as a sign of good will!

Thanks very much Drivers Wharf!
