Not absolutely sure. It came with my boat as a non runner. I was told that it needed a sleeve and a piston, but I cant confirm. It turns over by hand smoothly with no resistance or knocks. If you have a 2.4 it's well worth it for the spares but I was told it could be a runner. I don't need it as I have 2.5's.
