old race boats are only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them
if we think we do this sport for any other reason than enjoyment, we are kidding ourselves, you certainly never get the money back!
I would have spent over $250 000 boat racing over the last 5 years and my boat is probably worth $40-50 000.
But I wouldnt give it up for anything.
When is one of you Poms going to come out to NZ and do a race
Our season goes from January to May, the summer
There would always be a seat for an INTERNATIONAL competitor

Trying to remember which one it was originally - but in latter life was the one briefly raced by Rory Power - also briefly by Pete Little and used for the much hyped LPG outboard speed attempt.

That 23' Campbell/Wright cat was one of the ones with the offset cockpit I think, it fell over a few times.
