Cheers Larby!

On the duty front- Looks like it'd be 20% vat plus 2.7%. Probably going to be around £1750 duty on a price of £8500

I'll speak to hmrc tomorrow

Surely that only applies if it's sold & exported with all the paperwork in place?
If it were to be transported for evaluation purposes (pending a sale), HMRC need not be informed until an official sale occured.

I've sold a few boats to the UK for £500, along with a few grand charged seperately for shipping

Keep it semi realistic, tell em the engine's a non runner if it's new and they ask and all's good!

They nab you when you come back. Not that easy when you come from a tiny island! Also, generally speaking you need to justify not planning to bring it back with you when you book... Big brother is watching!

This needs to go now as new boat ordered.

Prepared to accept £9.5k from a uk buyer for engine and I'll sort out the duty from that. I'll also include a 24 pitch raker 2 too

Cracking engine/ super reliable - was great on my phantom 20- 69 mph and super quick pick up. 67 on the ring - possibly could get more with some prop work as only pulling 5400rpm

Bargain!!!!

Would you be interested in selling the prop seperately John?

Hi larbs,

Would sell prop separately but depending on whether it sells and when the other boat arrives I may use the boat on the 10th.

So after the other boat's ready to use- yes

I have a 26inch raker 2 also so will include one with the engine when it sells.

Would look for around £275

9k for the engine 9.5k for the boat and engine including vat and delivery to the UK

8k to anyone in Guernsey!

If you're in Guernsey and interested but dont have the full amount up front give me a bell- we can sort something out! Would really like to see this racing in Guernsey (but not in front of me!!)

Cheers
