I think it's a 2.4EFI!!! because Alan wrote this:
Kinda stretched my budget on this whole project so only got a 2.4 EFI on the test boat.

Hi Bruno, how are you
Yes it is a 2.4EFI, not the greatest choice in engine for the boat but it has still got the test boat a shade past 90mph.
Captain, keen eye!!! Not very clear in those pics but well spotted!
So sorry s'66, it's not a 3 litre! There is a good priced 300X on scream and fly at the moment. 8k USD.
Alan

That really is one sweet cat. It looks like it runs well in a bit of the rough stuff as well.

Thanks Mike, it feels better the faster you go in the rough! You just need the balls to do it

Was over racing in Ireland this weekend and met Alan who had his boat on the water. Now this is a quality product, built by a well qualified professional. In addition he makes a very nice fibreglass Alien Cowl a proper mould and he knows how to make them light. He is still playing with setup but for an old 2.4 the performance was impressive, the 2 glamour models he was giving a ride were very impressed. Highly recommended. See you in Coniston Alan.
