Cant imagine any 15ft cat being allowed to run with a 115 on !! You might get away with a 17' Argo or Twister on a calm day but would'nt recommend it !!

Hey hutchy- mate the aquavite was running really well!!!

Having seen the cats in Norway they do run bloody quick- but not convinced you'd ever get the right weather here mate!

That said the twister in Torquay went bloody well despite the rough weather but it was 20 foot not 15- I reckon fifteen is prob quite a lot too short! Also the 115 miggt be too heavy for a 15ft boat and a yam90 would prob be a better fit.

I reckon a twister 20 or 22 is viable for guernsey but you'll prob struggle in the rough- and it's often rough eh!

Give me a shout if you want to chat about what they were running in Norway for ideas mate!

I have two 115hos- one in bits needing new rings and one thats only done 10 hrs either of which are for sale.

If Guernsey were to land the world championship 3B it would be a very shrewd move.
I have to say that the 23 seemed to be going spot on for it's first race you were up there with 5.7 litre boats and twin rigs-bloody well done

Well,I cannot speak for the committee, but with the former world champion being a Guernsey lad, I believe it should be at some juncture in Guernsey! Now it's just a thought at present and I know it costs a lot to put an event on like this and involves a he'll of a lot organisation and time.
As a powerboat venue I think Guernsey watersi are a hard to beat.
I would race in it if it were here as without a canopy on the local 2litre class we couldn't compete if we had world 3c here

Would be epic to have some internationals here!!!

Whether worlds or europeans it would be brilliant!!!! and logical to run 3b, 3c and the V24s here at the same time!!!!

Powerboat week....!!!!!

What about also doing some sort of standalone guernsey series style event that any one can enter and still compete in a rung what ya brung - maybe handicaps based on weight and hp and length or something?????!

Phil, thats a Nitro cat, Ive seen them rigged with 200 mercs. Always liked the look of them but probably a tad short for sea use!
