250hp-300hp
How much do you think an engine of those sort of power ranges are likely to cost? I would like to invest a newer faster engine but I dont really want to spend more than about 3k-5k.
Is it possible folkes?
Rob.

Well I must admit it is a little hairy now at times but I enjoy scaring the shit out of myself and as my old dear works with the elderly have no trouble getting hold of adult sized nappies!
I am fairly new to power boating and I hear a lot about Phantoms and Rings but I never hear anything about Marshans.
Mine is a Marshan 21, what are they like compared to Phantoms and Rings? Honest opinions only!
Rob

Your Marshan used to have a Merc 200 with a 12 spark plug head prepared by Neil Homes of South Godstone Marine fame, at well over 70 mph it was safe as houses, have video to confirm, but it did have a bow tank in those days.

I have been told by a lot of people that marshans or a handful but I have always been told by a lot of people its mostly down too setup. I have the cav plate just over 4" from the bottom of the boat and it rides along beautifully! I have done a few tight turns in it but nothing to scary yet! Im not a very experienced driver so i dont wanna go mad.
The boat is currently doing about 50-60mph something about there because i dont have a speedo!
