26p big ear Chopper for sale
I've got a 14.5 x 26 Chopper for sale, in very good condition with no dents or nicks, and the only stamp on the hub is the Merc part number so I believe it's unworked. Weed cutters still in place too.
Will post pics and part number shortly, open to offers, postage will be £25 for special delivery next day. Also willing to swap or part ex for small hub props around 24p for Evinrude V4
Paul

I should think that'll be a good one to try! Raker 1 or 2? What work? How much?

Not yet, need to re-wrap the engine well before we can bolt it on. I'm away now until Friday but we'll have it running next Saturday for sure
I'll try my 22 Raker, and if it's too small (which I think it will be) I'll let you know

If you have Thomas do same work to your Raker as he did to my Laser you can get it up to same speed as revs ie 6000rpm = 60mph unfortunately motor is out of its comfort zone by 6000 ! I think you will need 24+ (Raker, laser, pro series) or 26+ (Yam Drag, Cleaver etc.)
Get it run in with the 22 (10hrs) Also did something odd with oil but can't remember which way round.

It's 5 hours at 2k rpm plus for break in, nothing special needed, the EMM adds more oil. They recommend the standard TC-W3 setting with XD100 oil for extreme use. Got a 24 Laser 2 on the way, and John R's stash of Rakers etc to borrow, so we'll see how we go with that. Got Keith's coned box too so we can do some back to back comparisons at varying heights

Have you had hub turned down on the Laser ? I was fairly sure it ran in for 10hrs before it started to run properly !! Might have been 5.
