i was offerd a merc 300 promax merc today,a 2000 model but low hours and only been on a pleasure boat they want &5500 if any ones interested

Sounds a little expensive to me for a year 2000 motor. Tried selling my 300x 2003 145 hrs couldn't get any more than £6000.00

Though talking about getting 6k for an 03 300x sounds very resonable to me,especialy when I sold an imported 06 300 XS for £11.5k a couple of months back, but the standard promax's have to compete with the 280,and I no which one I'd sooner have

Always wanted a 300x!
