Apache 36' Warrior "Twistana"

My friend is selling his 1993 Apache 36' Warrior.
Half staggered Bill Michell 572's with Mooneyham 10-71's and Holley 4500's.
Engines and SSM#IIIA drives brand new about 3 years ago.
Very few hours and absolute mint condition.

Very sweet! You say they're Bill Mitchell blower motors, but you didn't say what power they are.

I visited Bill Mitchells shop many years ago, Roncomcoma, long Island NY, very cool place, you don't see a lot of his motors in the marine sector tho.

I went there with Dennis Farrara, of 'Farrara Engines', who used bill for all his supplies.
Dennis took me out in a Scarab 400, which he'd just built and installed a pair of 650's in, and promptly put it aground at 50 knts Very embarrasing for Mr Farrara!, a quick call to 'sea tow' and we were off again.

Put it aground at 50 knots!!! Must have been some serious damage.

Well, here are the numbers.

About 950hp @ 9 psi boost/ 100 mph.
About 750hp @ 5 psi boost/ 85 mph.

Asking $150.000 including triaxle aluminium trailer.

Not too much actually, we were on the intercostal water ways on long island, there are literally thousands of small islands and sand banks, or should I say silt banks. we ran on to one of these.

When we came to a halt, the boat actually rocked over on one side! (on it's V)
I shouldn't think the waterways in those motors were too clean after that!

We got pulled off the bank by sea tow, and got back under way, so I guess there wasn't too much damage done, except to Dennis's ego.
