Backdraft on Ebay

Seen this Backdraft on Ebay, make a nice boat for someone, its a real shame that no one is racing 1.3L Offshore as it was a really good class, fast and cheap. If you made a mistake usually it didn't hurt too much !

An Allhallows regular if I'm not mistaken, it was out this year at the 'Shake-down' race back in April.

That'd be a good race wouldn't it. Me vs Me.
It'd be a shame for the race boat to be slower than the pleasure boat!!

1.3 was VERY competitive! And 55-60 in an ultra light 1.3 boat feels a little different to the same speed in a two ton cruiser.

Someones gotta start the ball rolling!......if i were 10 years younger, i'd challenge your sorry arse.

You could probably get a couple of people interested in 1.3 from the forum if you really tried.

Of course, if you don't think you have the ability, commitment or bottle........

I need to finish the formula before buying anything else.
Once the formula is running - maybe.

back on 1.3, Scott Hodges apparently still has his 1.3 B23 in his garden, I bet he'd come out if things got talked about, and how about a veterans class for John Moore, and mebbe even John Hedges.
