Anyone interested in my 2009 F2 Extreme? Considering selling the bare hull alone (aluminium trailer negotiable)
Custom built in 2009 in epoxy with a foam core and stringers. Outright immersed prop mono record holder when owned by Bob McCarthy at 103.02mph with Merc 2.5, British 3B Record holder at 64.19mph with a stock 115HO. It has been strengthened around the transom/engine well area from when I had a 200HO on it, all work done using epoxy and woven matt.
I can't say one careful owner, as it's had two very uncareful owners! Had a few repairs in it's 5 seasons of hard racing, but it's got many years of abuse left in it yet
There's no gel on this hull, it's wrapped in metallic black vinyl with a 2K painted running surface. It's a little bit scruffy, as you'd expect from a boat that's been raced hard all it's life. Bolt on a V4 and have go-kart like handling and superb rough water balance, or bolt on a V6 and go very very fast! Would make a great V150 boat, or a 115 for 3A/B as I have it now. It weighs in at around 600kg ready to race with the 115.
