Can you send me a better pic of the trim indicators please? I'm guessing they're the kind that attach to the ram itself?

can't see why not, you might have to modify the bracket slightly to fit your saddle though.
the bit with the 2 bolt holes in bolts to saddle and the cable goes into the end of the plunger opposite the black end. The black end pushes up against your transom. as you trim out the spring pushes the plunger out to remain on your transom and at the same time pulls the indicator cable out.
