Yep your right burty. I think he said it would do about 74mph and had a lot of problems getting air into the engine space.
I think its just a case of the production bladerunner being to heavy. I am not sure but I think he did/said he was going for the bladerunner RS6.
Verytricky will tell us what the score is I am sure.

Flamenco

Flamenco is actually not even as good as mine. I have the same racing hull as the RS6, whereas Flamenco has a thinner back section.

Flamenco does not have the overall cover.

Flamenco will do 72 mph with the builder driving it on the Solent!

Flamenco does not have drain plugs on the steps or on the sponsons ( side thingy's )

Flamenco does not come with a trailer....

If you were thinking about buying one... From now to the 30 November 2005 I have mine - complete with trailer & covers, split foot throttle etc for sale.

It is up for trade in at £58 500.00

One pound more and its yours. ie £58 501.00 will get the whole kit....

I bought it retail at £76 500, and had £5000 repairs and parts replacements ( so that would be about £1000.00 in actual value then! ) and had the trailer built custom for it.

So not a bad deal. I will loose quite a bit, but I dont have time to use the boat.
