Burgess F3 Cat
Here we have my Burgess F3 Cat,
Hull number 19
Bare hull would suit a short shaft 70 - 100hp
There is a thread on scream and fly which I post a link for which refers to Tor who raced this cat and the kind of top speed which you can expect.
Looking for £650

hey, boat looks nice.
What is the building year and material?
Is it with safety cell?
have a barracuda s850 hull with yamaha 70ces, late 80's i think.
All wood with no saftey cell, sure is fun to drive!

Now provisionally sold
I'll keep all interested parties up to date if the deal falls through.
Material is wood hulls and fibreglass centre cockpit, not sure which year as Burgess tally says hull no- 19 year blank.

Thanks for that, it is slightly newer than I thought.
Do you know why Dave didn't put a year on the tally out of a matter of interest?

Ha, he probably told 3 different people that was their boat so he didn't want an identification number on them !
Legend has it a guy waited and waited for his boat, finally in desperation he went to the factory and demanded his boat, Dave showed him a boat in primer being wheeled into the spray booth and promised him that was his boat before taking him into the office. As the guy left he saw the painter spraying nice yellow topcoat, trouble was he'd ordered white.

Lol
So Dave Burgess is still kicking about?
Where is he based?
Does he go to any racing or Coniston for records week?
