Check these out..
Check these out - they saved me so much messing about with bits of rag and carpet trying to protect the paint work/graphics. They stay on the ratchet strap when removed from boat, you just slide into place and ratchet down. Soft high density foam underneath, moulds to shape.

Buddy of mine can get them for £10 a pair + £1 to cover postage - PM if you would like a set.
