Cougar C10 Bear Grylls RIB

Bear commisoned a new RIB to be built by Cougar for an Arctic trip he is making next year in August. This boat now has been completed and after testing, he has decided to go for a larger craft.

This RIB is designed for commercial and expedition use. Constructed by Kevlar, she is extremely strong and robust. Designed for high speed use, this high performance craft is well suited to interceptor/patrol type of work. She has been tested in Force 7 conditions and has the ability to carry massive fuel loads, taking her range to over 700 miles at 30knots!

Capable of 65-70mph, she can be set up either for load carrying and marathon distances or high speed performance. With commercial size tubes and a deep deck, it offers fantastic crew safety and protection. Fitted with a very high windscreen, this too protects you from the elements. The A-Frame is removable and also offers the ability to have a canvas top canopy fitted, complete with heating. The Rib is designed with massive storage areas, and large seating areas. The deck space also offers room for additional fuel cells.

"I chose Cougar as one of the fastest and toughest hulls on the market.

This custom-made Expedition RIB though is proving marginally too small for the amount of fuel we need to carry for the 1200 mile legs that we need to do in the Arctic, so we are having to commission a yet bigger RIB. It is sad to have to sell this RIB as the design has had so much attention to detail from myself and my expedition team, but I am proud that it is finished to the highest standards and I know it will prove one of the toughest, fastest response RIB’s available. The RIB is brand new with only several afternoons of use and is being sold at a highly competitive price. There are few RIB’s finished, tested and made to such a high spec, with a reinforced Kevlar hull that is as tough as this, available anywhere! Brand new and ready for work."
Bear Grylls.

This brand new boat only has low hours and comes complete with a full warranty. Massive specification and ready for demonstration. I If anyone would like to sea trail the boat. I would be happy to take them out. The boat cost over 170k inc VAT. I know bear would except offers around 150k all in. Online Brochure: www.cougarc10.t83.net

Great Boat for endurance racing and record attempts!

Regards

Tom

I have come onboard with the project in the last month-since the boat has been built. I am consulting for Bear the new larger RIB for the trip and also his personal family craft.

I am helping Grylls advertise the craft. The frame work is for a removable canvas canopy, similar to the likes of the Redbay RIBs, she has heaters built into the console for winter boating, for when this canopy is fitted.
