My aeroplane vs your helicopter? What planet are you on.
I feel a small wager could be in order.

Let me guess, you'd choose a lift shaft.

Cougar Cubs

In 1986 we did a country wide tour with six cubs all mounted on one trailer, shown here in Guernsey. Got so pi**ed on the ferry that the Captain came down and threatened to put us off in jersey and then Dredgie couldn't back the trailer off the ferry, Trotman, who could hardly stand, had to help! If you look closely at the van, which belonged to Robby Hood, (whatever happened to the Hood family?), you can see it is logoed up with "Friday Night Drinkers 1986 Guernsey Summer Tour".

Cubs

Here's a pic of launching in Guernsey with a rather young looking Currington in the foreground helping me, (with more hair), to fix something. Suspect that these were taken by Mickie Phillips. This was just after Colin Clarke from Guernsey had come round to introduce himself to Dredge only to be told" he's throwing up behind the van" after a particularly heavy Grolsch session the night before.

Cubs

We even put one in the centre of the swimming pool at the Beau Sejour leisure centre for the cocktail party. Those of you oldies that were there may remember that everyone ended up in the pool- except Terry Herring of course. Damn good party !

Si, in that second picture, is that a young Thighona standing near the quayside?

PS. Pete C looks a bit skinny!

'Her' actually!

Fiona Pascoe!..you know: Fiona>>>thighona! who else. I thought it was Dredge & Mark who nick-named her Thighona while at college

BIG GIRL

Jon, I have always know her as the BIG GIRL, but in answer to your question, having closely studied the picture, the answer is no, and I have no idea who it is anyway, just some poor misguided person who thought Cubs were cool- they probably were at the time, in fairness we had terrific fun in them, they rolled well. When we ran them on the lake at Wirral, (Wallasey), we even managed to destroy a lower unit on an underwater object in the middle of the course, turned out to be a shopping trolley when the tide went out.
Yes; Pete C. has put on a bit, but haven't we all after all it was 19 years ago. I was only just out of short trousers ! (Bit like Tony D.).

I quite fancy one of the boats - but NO MORE PROJECTS until the formula is finished.
