Probably because they're either tyre-kickers, or they've got something similar & want to see how much it's worth, or they're waiting until the last seconds in the hope of getting a bargain/better price.
I never bid until the last minute. It avoids a bidding war & it means I can't change my mind & increase my <i>absolute limit</i> if I get outbid.
I agree though; it's not very pleasant for the seller.

I dunno mate. I`m happy with what I got (or getting-only a holding deposit at this stage) and I`m sure the chap will get some good use from it, bloody nice boat with a very reliable engine. I needed to sell it to fund the next one and I didnt want it for sale for weeks as in my opinion that puts people off (well me at least!).
On the look out for a P21 know, just hull and trailer-anyone???

I know where there's a 21 and trailer,been standing a long time and dont know if its for sale,same place has a ring 21.
