Extreme 24 For Sale

Having recently bought a P28 I can't justify keeping the Extreme so she is now going up for sale.

2004 Build, all white gelcoat in very clean condition.
Black interior with twin Extreme flip up bolster seats, aft bench seat will seat 4 at a squeeze.(with storage underneath) Large sunpad on engine hatch.

Cuddy has never been fitted out so just left in grey carpet. I can get you a matteress fitted at reasonable cost if you need one. (I've had it measured up)

"Carbon effect" dash panel with Gaffrig speedo plus Merc tacho, volts, fuel, oil pressure and water temp.

Morse single lever billet racing throttle/gear controls.

Antifouled
LED Nav lights (£100 each!)
Bilge blower
Electric bilge pump
Pro trim
Bennett hydraulic trim tabs
Huge Seafire auto fire extinguisher fitted last year in the engine bay (£450)
2 hand held extinguishers (2010)
New battery isolator (2010)
Battery box with decent battery
Winter canvas tonneau cover
External transom water pickup with large glass topped water strainer
Forward deck hatch
Separate anchor locker

The engine is a Big Block V8 8.2L 502cc with reputadly circa 500hp. I will post the full engine spec later today. This had supposedly done around 12hrs when I got her and I've probably added another 10hrs to this.

Running through a Bravo 1 drive to a 3 blade 14 1/2 x 25 labbed prop.

She really does sound awesome running straight through transom exhausts.

I'm told that she previously did 82mph although we were never brave enough to try anything more than 70. Will cruise all day at 45-50.

Sat on a 4 wheel Snipe UK braked trailer. (bunks for better support) Have just towed her down from Windsor (where she was in storage) to the South Coast without any issues.

Until a few days ago, she has been in dry storage in my uncles workshop since autumn last year.

Any viewings welcome, we are 10 mins from Jn 8/9 of the M27 just outside Warsash.

Asking price £15,000 ono.

More pics to follow.

As promised here are the engine specs....

502 8.2L Big Block
Forged crank
Forged dimple rods
JE forged pistons
Ported heads with 3 way valve seats
H/D oil pump
Thunderbolt VI ignition with hp module
Dart inlet
1000CFM Holley Dominator carb
Cloynes double roller hp can gear and chain
Gil Marine performance exhaust headers and tail pipes - they are straight through transom pipes with a small baffle fitted - loud enough to sound fantastic but don't leave your ears ringing!

I will get some more pictures in the next few days.

Still for sale, here are a few more pictures.

Open to sensible offers and may even consider a smaller boat in px plus cash.

Hi Christian,
Sorry but that's too much agro for me. I'd consider selling it without the trailer but the boat/motor needs to go as a package.

Hi James,
O.K.
I understand you. But the problem is if i buy it i must make a CE
certification to use the boat in Germany and with that engine you have in the boat you will never become a CE certification.
Thanks
Christian

Hi,
thanks,
but if the boat build after 1998 i need the CE certificate to make a registraton
in germany.
So there is no other way to bring it to germany.
I must make the CE before i can make a registation.
With that engine it is impossible.

Can't see that you'd have a problem there, as the 24 is rated to 500hp, and the motor looks like a HP500...

here's what it'd say on it's CE plate. (from a similar boat)

Hi Tony,
like i know,
in Germany all boats after 1998 needs a CE certificat. In the certificate
bust be the hull ident no and the engine no.
Thats means the hull and the engine must have a CE.
A old caburator engine with straith exhaust can t have a ce certification.
The other thing is i will not have a carburator engine in my boat
because the fuel economy. The 496 i have curently in my boat runs
so powerfull with verry little fuel.
So my idea was to buy a extreme hull and put my 496 in it.
But if James will not split the boat and engine so its not intresting for me.
But its good to know that your extreme 24 have a CE.
Best regards
Christian
