anyone know anything about this Extreme?

Ex race, 1995

Previous lives:

1) New, in 1995, at it's first race, Gosport. Raced full seasons in '95 & '96 won national titles both years. Mercruiser 502 EFI, modded for '96 season.

2) Mid 1998, re rigged for pleasure, pictured here returning from Littlehampton race of that year, now with single Chevrolet V8 turbodiesel.

3) Late October 1998, just returned from the wettest 'Windermere week' in history, a week later it belonged to Andy Edwards.

Since then, it got re-engined with a Yanmar 315 diesel.

Well, as I said, it's an ex race boat.

Some details of that particular Extreme 26, are I personally think, much nicer than the standard ones (such as the custom built dash/bulkhead), but I spose I would, as it was my design/build.

No getting away from it's history and age though. It had a bit of crazing here & there, as it had a pretty hard life for a couple of years.

I would strongly reccomend a viewing before you bid.
I haven't seen the boat since about 2001, so can't comment on it's current state.

I have to say that the 1998 season using that boat for pleasure, was one of the most enjoyable boating seasons in living memory, but this was for many reasons, some of which were obviously the boat it's self.
