Looks like a bought one then!

you're a very cost effective means of spending all my pennies Mr Davis!

We (Kitten) have made a conversion for the pull to push for a customer with a 175 Suzuki - I'll try and take some piccies today - great engineering and very simple.

Here it is with its cover that still needs a little trim - this will fit the original end type and the new ones that have a spring built in.

It's certainly very simple, but I'd hardly call it great engineering. It sorta defeats the object of buying an Incontrol!

Hey Cookee, ask the pussycat why he didn't make it more symetrical like the one what I made earler?

And tell him not to go getting all tetchy and defensive!!

Tone, you're missing the point I think.

It reverses the action for OMC / Suzuki fitment.

Nah, I understand the reason for it, but for me the beauty of an incontrol is the teflon coated inner cable, which makes the operation so smooth. To then use that to operate a 33c sorta defeats the object IMHO

OI!! whatch it you. I did a similar thing, and mine is still very light, even though it's operating two prehistoric injector pumps.

I used the lightweight 23C low friction cables.

That would be down to the fact it will also fit the type with the separate return spring. (cos I'm not as clever as you - "you smug ginger ****"! )

It also is connected to the standard Suzuki hand throttle, I will take a photo of it all when it's fitted in the boat - the customer likes the look of the Incontrol equipment and he wanted us to make it all work with the Suzuki.

Yeh, I know that, but you didn't waste the inner cable, plus, you used 22c's which are nice and light.

So pray tell Mr Davis how would you make a suzi push to go fast control box link to an incontrol pull to go fast foot throttle ( as specified by the customer after being told of the differences) and operate a suzi push to go fast lump?

I wouldn't. A hotfoot is all a Suzuki owner deserves.

All of the above!

http://www.shockwaveseats.com/

But we only bought the linear bearing/shocker units themselves (about 1500 quid each), and did all the mounting & bracketry ourselves using rally type seats.

So, did David Okey give you a price that was attractive? or are you back to Yanmar.

We endevour to provide the customer with what they want. we never tell a customer what they want ( unless what they want is detimental to the integrity or function of the product) we advice the options, and let them decide. If they want gold plated bath taps on the combing the question is what style tap?
