For Sale Argon Foot throttle currently fitted with a 33C cable was on a Yamaha but these can be converted to run on any engine with a bit of thought.

This might be a stupid question but...

Why would i pay more for this than i would pay for a new hot foot? Not a criticism, just wondering if there's a reason, i'm looking to buy a throttle at the mo!

Cheers, James

Hi, I have personally used a hotfoot and i much prefer this type because your foot actually is held in and doesnt slip out, The surface area that your foot presses on is almost doubled on an Argon.

Also the hot foot has a pregressive linkage system that IMO with any engine makes hard work for keeping the throttle open,Like an on/off switch... Also a weak point to fail.

You can get a better quality alternative to argon, Cookie sells them and fits them to his boats but i am sure they retail over £400.
