Yep, the edge got it, I'm off this afternoon to buy Russell's revenger, back thursday at 16.00

Jizm fits in cos he's a friend of AndyB's who was also interested in Freebooter

I'll prob just have the 7.4 in for the poker run, but the proper 8.2 will be in for the racing

James

It's a very nice boat shame Russ is getting rid of it across the water ! will you bring it over to race here ? Freebooter will make a great project I remember it in Poole in the 80's. I thought about it but still got my Revenger to sort out never enough time for that !

Yeah I'd like to come across to race next year, gotta pay for the baby etc first these days! I would love to do the cowes torquay and a few of the poker runs, I'll be getting the revenger up to mint condition first though, I can't wait to see her tomorrow!

We used to race against Russel's R25. (mid 90's)

Also considered buying Freebooter many years back when Tony Toll was seling it. Nice looking boat. Don't think I managed to raise the funds.
