Gearbox gearsets?

I've gone from 2:1 down to 1.87:1 I could do with finding a 1.7?:1 gearset for a sportmaster/CLE box or even the 1.6?:1 ratio - can anyone help me? I believe they would be the gears from the outdrive box but would fit the Sportmaster.

Well you're not wrong mate but they changed the rules - we have to run EPA or "green" engines this year which means that XR2 engines are banned from the RIB class now. With lower a rev limit and more power and torque I have to run a bigger prop or change the gearbox ratio and keep our existing prop. Tempest 25's being hard to find in the UK means changing the ratios is the next option!

Logical really!

As for knowing what I'm talking about, well that's a whole other barrel of fish!
