Plancraft Sabre 16ft 1993-94. It has a powerful Mercury 2 stroke, 3 cylinder
90hp outboard, which is oil injected and has hydraulic tilt/trim. I have
owned this boat since April 06. Shortly after purchase I fitted a new Teleflex system, new leisure battery and new trailer indespension units (Mini hubs). The boat is very stable and will easily exceed 35-40mph.
It has been stored for 10 months, but I took it down to the water on Sunday after fitting new spark plugs, as one of them was giving a slight misfire last time out.
The engine had been winterised, but still fired virtually instantly! It ran
beautifully and I gave it a good run for a while. It has serial numbers both
on the engine block and the power trim unit.
The interior is in great condition, it was re-upholstered by previous owner. There are a couple of very minor blemishes, but as I say, very minor. It comes with a 25 litre fuel tank situated in its own cubby hole up front. The rear upper seat part lifts out to gain access to battery and bilge. There is a bilge pump which is switched on at the dash.
The trailer is in sound condition and is unbraked. I have incorporated a telescopic drawer bar (ok'd by professional trailer chappy), which extends 6' so the towing car's wheels do not need to enter the water. The tyres are virtually new and it has a spare wheel too.
Also, there is a ski pole, 2 oars, small fenders, heavy duty tie down rachet straps and anchor. The boat has a cover which is weather resistant and reasonably effective.

We have enjoyed this boat immensely, but due to storage issues and too many other projects, it is not getting the use it should. So regrettably it has to go. Any questions, please call Nick on 07789 502661 anytime.
