Well im running a heavy duty sea star steering box but the ram (latham) has a slight residue of oil on the shaft! Not sure if its normal or not??

You may as well try a local Hydraulic Engineers place first, Yellow Pages?

And cheers for the info guys ,i would normally ave ago at most things but i'd rather let someone who knows what there doin sort me steering out! Dont fancy goin swimming without any warning !
