dude it doesn't matter how old the engine is, just how its been looked after. every wants a 90's boat and engine but in reality this will never happen. at the end of the day any boat / engine combo is as good as its been looked after and its better to buy something that someone knows or knows of rather than buying blind!

thanks for the feedback, looked at the ring 21 but its located in the channel islands. Found a ring 16 with a yamaha v4 130hp 1996- £4995 advertised on boats and outboards looks quite tidy, whats the opinions on this, does anyone know its history?

Depends where & how you will use the boat, I think the 16 with the 140 is to much of a handfull for a first boat if you are running a 16' dont go above 90 ponies for ya first season. Thats my sensible head there boys, see I do have one.

Thanks for the advice guys, that boat is called ringpiece, I think something a bit more tame is a good idea.
Only plan to use the boat for messing about in, maybe skiing etc, Dont need to do 70mph, but i want to buy something that will last me awhile. Do you think stick with a 16 ring or phantom, or go for a fletcher etc ?

Conversion code:
For "too heavy", read, "Too Flimsey".
Bails, get yaself a "Baker Battering Ram"!
The P20 is a great boat and won't pull any funny stunts or surprises on you, and for what you want, a 150 motor would suffice.
Probably do near 60 flat out.....perfec!

The shipping is IRO 550 quid, boat on trailer only, then 17.5% VAT on purchase price of boat and shipping combined. No duty.
