Mariner Promax 300 hp 1996

Firstly what a brilliant web site totally awsome, this is boating on overload, I never knew just how much I didn't know. An inspiration. Even the bullshyt is compelling.

I have a PAIR of Counter Rotating Mariner Promax 300hp engines EFI, (1996) complete with Speedmaster gearbox and stainless steel Bravo propellers, for sale. ( need to replace with 4 strokes) (note its also on e-bay)

Transom length is 25" however this can easily be reduced to 20" by removing the midsection and shaft.

The boat and engines have been imported from Lake Havasu in the USA last year so have been used in fresh water up untill July 06. The previous owner purchased the engines from new, but due to illness had the boat moth balled for 5 years, until the boat was finally sold.

Both engines are Immaculate and ready to go and available for any test, we are replacing the engines wih new 4 stroke engines so the engine will be removed from the boat within 2 weeks.

More info and pics available, please e-mail if you need more.

What a cool tag line. Jon, reckon you should get rid of the "The Heart of Performance Boating" and replace is with "Even the Bullshit is Compelling"

That's very cheap for a pair of 300hp dude !!! Do you live in USA ?
Would you consider a 1 engine sell ?

Not USA, Sunny Colchester UK not disimilar to Florida, only wetter and the breasts are smaller.

£8000.00 Is what I need to pay for the new engines, I could put them up for more but the engines are coming off very soon, ( if not this weekend,) and I will only have to store them.

I will definitly not be splitting, they are a pair.

I overlooked the pound-Euro rate.... it's about 12000 €.
If they are good they are still worth that price.
I'm still looking for a 21ft rig and possible 1 engine... so sorry, but good luck with your sell.
