early 2.5 200hp merc for sale.

good runner,
115psi on all cylinders,
carbon reeds
lightweight flywheel
16amp elecs.
oil inj. removed
2.4 style cowl (has a big hole in the top where top pin smashed its way thru)
20inch offshore leg with 1 way valve tapped into water way on adapter plate for transom water pick up, all nylatron trim bushes and bronze steering bushes new at beginning of this season. the whole leg, saddle and lower unit was grit blasted and repainted at beginniong of this season
standatd 1.87 box with top holes epoxy'd up and flushed
helley fuel pump and pressure reg.

since being built up at the beginning of the season it has had some heavy use in local racing in guernsey. the paintwork on the saddle and leg is not immaculate anymore and gearbox has just started to peel a little where the pick up holes were flushed. the motor starts and runs fine, pumps water well and has run well on my raceboat this year.

reason for sale is i have upgraded to a 260efi

ill take some more shots of the powerhead and some close ups of it tomorrow and repost

anyone interested in 20in offshore leg old 'ridge back' style (snout has been cut off) all new bushes blasted & new paint at beginning of season (couple chips now) low water pick up with valve tapped into waterway in adapter plate
