Merc 2.5 on ebay beware !!

Theres a merc 2.5 carb model on ebay which says its got no compression on number 3 cylinder.A mate on mine emailed him to ask if the block has holes/pistons trying to get out!!

His answer was "yes" the block has a hole in it but he hasnt listed the question on ebay, I wonder why !!

Seems that he also sold a 18ft phantom, was left postive feedback by the buyer only to relist the boat stating

"Relisted due to time waster boat never viewed!!!"

Would you really leave positive feedback on an item you never collected Ummm, you cant beat inside bidding when it works eh

I have both left and received feedback for items that have not been received, due to the seller being understandable about not wanting a item that they have won.

Oh well each to there own I guess, but kind of defeats the object of feedback imvho. I generally thought it was a kind of bid to buy set up but I use ebay rarely so may be wrong.
