mercruiser bravo 2 transom shield (wanted)

2nd hand or recon?
customer at work has a rinker with yanmar 4LH with bravo 2.
Iv got it all apart at the moment due to it taking on water (poor fitting by importer 10 years ago) wich over time has got worse causing fuel tank sump transom shield to corrode. new tek tank fitted new sump, but due to his funds I said I would see if there is another option? if not I will be ordering new in the next few days.
thanks

Pics of Bravo I

Now the tricky bit, is it worth 50% of the current trade price ??

And I have not yet a clue what that might be , perhaps a Mercruiser bod might be able to help....

Mike.

At Drivers temorrer , so if any knowledgeable partsperson has an idea please let me know.

Mike, what is it the you need exactly ? only the inner plate or the gimbal or all?

If you need a price for a stock gimbal assmbl. ( like the one shown ) , used..they go for 500-1500 USD here, in working condition, a HP assmbl. is going from 1200-2500 , but you can get them almost new for that price.

If somebody is only seeking for the inner plate, use a rear race engine mount and a 3/8's plate of aluminum powder coated and drill the holes in it .
Safes weight, room and is easy to do.
