The engine runs 26cc heads therefore runs on avgas
We ran it in F3 Ski Racing for 2 seasons and due to a rule change can no longer run it.

Hey Dan i'm the guy from Plymouth Uni, we met in the bar when a girl decided to plaster us in red wine in Torquay!
Can't honestly remember how much the rebuild set us back, it was done in Holland and had all new bearings, seals and rings as it was just an end of season check over and it had no real problems.
The engine also comes with a second set of standard heads which allow it to run on super unleaded, but as Cyco says this will reduce the horsepower.

I've not used the boat since Torquay hence havent called you, still got your number tho so I'll be in touch, on the lighter note the drink washed out ok
How often over the course of a season did it get re-built?

The engine only had a re-build once, at the end of a season, ready for the following season.
