When I say "I've got one" what I actually mean is, I've got a 20' loom extension, so it has a plug at both ends, one male, one female. So you just cut the female plug off and wire the tails into the instruments/ign-switch etc.

tiz noo

it's actually one half of a mercruiser diesel loom set, they have two, one std sterndrive loom (completely different plug) and this, which i'm certain is the same configuration as an OB.

there's an ignition switch with it as well I think, but it probably doesn't have a 'push to choke' command.

Well a new XR2/2.5efi loom (ie, loom only, not complete with control box), is 130 quid, so I reckon 40 quid is a fair price.
