looks VERY clean and a late ish motor. Reckon its worth it but as ever its if people want to pay the money. i mean what as a fully working 4 wheel breaked trailer worth? late motor, full trim and hydruali steering if you had to put a nice rig together?

If you look at it like that my p21 was just over 23k to build. I no it would never sell for that but i wonder what it will be worth in 4 or 5 years time.

The guy with the p18 moulds is after around 14k for trimmed boat only
So 9k boat with engine and trailer sounds good if in good order ,problem is the price of every thing has gone though the roof in GB

im just a realistic person i guess. its how much would it cost to put a rig together with a late motor. the late motors obviously are worth more and to get a boat really up to scratch costs as you know.

and obviously supply and demand. hull itself has a base price based on condition.
customising how ever may not raise the price, same as cars then its personal taste.

If the boat comes out of the Baker tooling so you have paid for the right to build and the boat is built to same lay up as Steve Baker did by boat building craftsmen there should be no difference .The problem has been that the Baker build was changed by some builders and some very weighty phantoms turned up.The only way to get the phantoms back on track is to hope the moulds end up with builders that gives a shit and are not in it for money, but the love of the boat

my 18 cost me about £5000 new in 97 so how much is it worth now ? i recon about £0 (£333 a year thats not bad) the only value can really be in the engine trailer steering tank etc.

well im currently selling my baker built 1982 P21 for £2500 i suppose if you do the maths and break down all the little bits like steering, rex bits, gauges, fuel tank, alloys, trailer lights and trailer i am really giving the hull away. However i wouldnt say the hull had no value.
