yea I copy that Capt C, thats one of the reasons why I am here talking to your goodself.

I have heard so many stories where someone has bought a boat and been really happy untill someone else reveals some nasty story about it.

I dont want this to be me.

You're right Hutchy.................... how insulting of me to suggest that my utter pile of shit isnt a REAL Phantom, afterall it was only made by the company whom purchased the tooling, rights, working drawings & laminating schedule to the 21 Phantom.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have had quite a few speedboats then a small rib, then a 21 fletcher ib 4.3 and up to Christmas a 22 ft Searay with the 5.7. My toys have got bigger but slower.

Thanx Cap C, a P21 and im sure its nice but its not where im at.

I am going to take a second look at the Extreme 24 in Lymington tommorow and go fo a run in her. Its got the big block Merc; anyone know what i should look out for? Any help would be apreciated.

heh mate.............. I was only Kidding anyway!

with regards to the extreme 24. Speak to Tony; as far as I'm aware most of his customers stay very loyal to him and thus its quite likely he may know of any history.

gotta be worth a PM

yea i sent one to Tony and am awaiting his opinion. Roger phoned him on my behalf about the boat, the only feedback i got was that the boat was fine (not raced or rallyed) but a touch on the pricy side, im working on this factor.

I asked the owner about stress cracks or repairs and the only bit on the whole boat was a microscopic crack in the anchor locker lid. Its dry berthed and as new underneath.

I have also seen a 2003 extreme 21 cuddy with the 5.0. This is as new but i cant help thinking the 24 would be more of a boat. I have never been out in a 21 or a 24 to compare how they differ, im sure some of you guys can help.

Hey Cap C are you a real stuntman? coz i know a groovey stuntwoman.

Only ever been in a Ring 21 Sportsboat (and that was the older style hull). I think Tonys personal preference has always been the 24 (of the 3 boats he builds). But heh each to their own.

hope the negotiations go well for you.

I wish i was a real stuntman, however in truth; i'd prob put me back out just attempting to get in a fkin jump suit!

99p, the guy wants to give it away. Its not my thing but someone here might know it.
Looks like one of the ex emirate boats that run in OCR 1.3L it might even be the one that splitpin and i run in Class III and was redecked by emeriates from a race deck to the open deck.

My best mates sister....Lucy Allen.

She is into all things dangerous so long as its safe!

Does all major `blockbuster` movies but behind the scenes.

Boatwise.....she had something to do with the Bond movie with the Sunseeker in the Thames and er Titanic!

Her thing is skydiving.

JESUS BluFin! How the hell did you find that? I must show her ,im not sure shes seen it. WOW

Her first ever role was the railway children, with her sister and my best mate. They were the `potter family` children, Bernard Cribbens was their father and station master.

You must get out more.

So will I when I get a new boat.
