Ski's

In my opinion ski's are great fun just put up with the cold in the winter with a good wetsuit, boots and gloves go out all winter jumping waves and being reckless no one else will be there to clamp down on you.
But in the summer when it is calm leave it at home going flat out all day at 60 65MPH is only fun for a short time.
Always go out with others not for safety it's just more fun.
But either way buy one and make up your own mind.

He's right, but you need to experience it for yourself, you'll want another boat after a season...

Just putting in my 50 cent.
I think you guy's are right about waterjets - and don't think it's cool to kick back and relax + enjoy the sun on a quiet day on the water.

My advice: Keep the boat, and rent a jetski when you wanna go bananas...!

Who is you're brother, does he race? I might know him if its one of the fastest in the country?

I have just sold my 325hp RXP, very fast but not very sociable, I have a superjet for fun on the coast now but would like another boat for use with friends & family etc

I have always had boats, i know have an 18ft monterey wakeboard boat, its awesome and my mate runs a phantom 20 that hits over 70mph! My new boss convinced me to buy a ski as well as the boat in january, i havent used the boat since, the ski is a piece of p*ss. Takes me 10 mins to load the kit, easy to launch and an hour max to clean and wash her through! Ski's in my opinion are rubbish on a lake or in flat water, they just get boring, but get a dry suit and go out in horrible weather with big water and they are amazing!! i have some wicked wave jumpin pics

I couldnt ever have one over the boat though as i love my toys to much My ski will do 60mph but i cannot get close to the phantom 20 in rough water as you just cant keep the speed up. Skis are great to go wave jumping or a long cruise in ok ish water but i think you'd regret selling the boat for one! Keep the boat and get a ski ... all round winner

boat vs ski

Deffo keep the boat and buy a ski it was the best thing i ever did, good fun even with my ski (seadoo 255 hp) the boat wins every time but thats because my gonads are not big enough to keep the ski flat out. you will love a ski but will want your boat back after a few months
by the way love your boat
