What do you think the total weight of the boat+engine would be?

Boat & engine, circa 750-800 kilos, and it aint a '91, it's pre '86.

I think you can just see the end of the inner most spray rail in the bottom left of the pic of the motor meaning it has the newer style hull with the old deck which makes it an 87 I reckon!!!

Ask for the HIN number and then look on here as Jon posted a detailed explanation of how to decode the numbers a few months back.

Agreed, well spotted.

A face-lift 21 it is then.

As Mark says, you can look up the HIN for details of any 'genuine' Phantom on this thread:

Given the late motor, I reckon the asking price is bang on, mebbe even a tad cheap.

What you really wanna do is, buy that one, buy Paul Aylett's one ('96 model, the newer style deck and in really nice nick) swap the motors, and flog the older one with Paul's '96 3.0 litre 225

Pauls with that Opti would be very cool.

I saw a 28 in a magazine today, with 3x 200 yams I think... 49,000 euros - tempting!

Don't know anything first hand, just recycling things I've heard.
I believe they're 200 HPDI's and runs a claimed 90.
Sounds a bit on the high side to me.
