Plancraft Sabre Ski Boat / Powerboat For Sale (MERCURY TOWER

For sale I have my Plancraft Sabre speed boat with a 90hp inline 6 Mercury 'Tower Of Power'.

The boat is very powerful and can easily pull two or three skiiers behind, we have used this boat rarely for a few weeks in France each year towing kneeboards, mono ski's and combo skiing.

We have recently added some extras to the boat which includes an electric bilge pump, a stereo and a few other bits like the steering wheel.

The trailer is a twin axle hi-speed with two 750kg capacity axles.

The cowling has 115hp stickers on however the engine is a 90hp.

I am looking for around £6000 but I am open to offers, the boat is located 10 miles from Cambridge.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to contact me with any questions bradwinter1@hotmail.com

Good luck with that! Seriously, I'd say you're very overpriced!

Me and my Dad have put alot of money into this boat and there is not a chance that it is worth 1K, especially with a twin axle trailer and a perfectly functioning outboard.

As I said in the listing I am open to offers so if anyone is interested they can make me an offer, I do want a decent price at least around the 4K mark so that I can put it towards a bigger ski boat for our family. Thanks

Has no one ever told you that with boats you never ever ever get back what you spent! I think its a little harsh other members ruining your chance of selling on BM by undermining your advert. However I also think you are a little optimistic with the value, you may do better if you split it. I'll PM you with some details rather than plastering it all over here

Although they were a bit blunt, I think the guys were just trying to help you get a sale... Surely getting a few grand and selling the boat is better than asking 6 and being stuck with it?

Unfortunately it's one of those things that boats cost a lot to run and maintain, and unless it's seriously special you'll never get back what you spend. I picked up a Ring 21 with an '09 200HO that had only done 60 hours, and I paid only very slightly more than you're asking. I got a good deal admittedly, but it's a buyers market at the moment

good luck

hope the sale goes well... I think tho possibly if you are looking for top dollar it may be worth holding off till the start of next session where boat price's increase the most during each year. it is now the approching the end of the session and boat's arn't fetching great money.
Your advert did make me laugh when i read it tho... Read it back to your self.
You say you have recently added a few extras !!!!! like a steering wheel

Not taking the micheal just an obsorvation...

Good luck
