taz, it'd probably be beneficial to give people an idea of what you want. even if it was an "offers in excess of"

'aving a larf
I think the engines set you back about 40k nowadays and those engines have only got about 30hours on them.
So at the very least the second hand value of the engines alone would be around 30k, plus the boat, plus a custom built 6 wheel trailer.
Some of you tire kickers have got funny idea about the true value of boats but I suppose its a buyers market at the moment.

Aren't they the same motors that are up here at £10K each?
I think a lot of these arguments and 'tyre kickers' would be avoided if people had a rough idea of what the boat is up for. People get curious and nosey, it's a fact of life

I'd agree with £30k personally. You can get a new 300xs from the states for just over 10k, so I'd say what you're asking for the motors is about right.
Add to that 10k for the hull (20k is just plain excessive!), and you've got you're £30k. Maybe it's worth a little more, but people are unlikely to fight over it so you're likely to have no option but to settle for a low price if you want to sell.
I must add, it's a gorgeous boat and I wish I had the money to buy it!!
Cheers, James

the old onwer is a friend of mine .
real fast and we had the old engine begin this year on the dyno same set up but rebuild and the hp was far less then we tought it was when it was pushing the 28. after some exhaust testing we found almost 900hp instead of the 700 in the original set up ,so we discussed it quite afew times what the boat does whit the 900hp !!

if a seller knows what they want they should have the balls to ask for it imo, unless they are worried people will run a mile? it saves having everone calling then hanging up when they hear the price.
nice boat by the way.

You cant buy a 300xs new for 10 k not even a bare motor Your looking at around the 20k with a loom tanks duty vat etc etc, Now when u twin rig you need stainless wing plates tie bar and pref hydraulic steering in my case power steering. Then you need to join the motors together through smartcraft and and a proper display gauges etc. The cost is endless high performace boats arent cheap and there wasnt any corners cut on this one. The trailer cost 10k. I dont have the time to use it. Its around 40k

The ball has to start rolling somewhere,it is an offer,a serious offer, notice no one else has offered as yet, might just have started an auction with Taz as the beneficiary.
