I took the tape to the arse of it, its 108 " there too.

Every pictures makes it look fater at the Beam.

The plates are 2-2 +1/2" above where the hull passes in front of a drive.

The plates are both 9-10 " above the bottom of the V.

2-1/2" is not particularly high, we ran the race boat with 4" with no trouble at all, and Pascoe rigs the SR9's with 5, although it is a little different with a single of course.

I'm sure the Bravo 1's would help with your ventilation trouble, they really do get a good grip. My 30's would be useless tho' I think.
