Mr. D,

Are they available with the stainless subframes or did you have them made seperately?

Also, how much?

You could trawl the breakers yards for hi spec Japanese Mitsubishi Pajero's, they have adjustable suspension subframes on the drivers side. That would be the cheapest option.

The seats and frames belong to 2 different customers, and just happen to be together in my garage for storage.

The seats are Revengers, bought for a Pascoe rib that I'm rigging, the seat frames are from John Cunningham, for a 26 Ring that's being refurbished.

The seats would fit on the frames, but that isn't the intention.

Seat frames are about 350, not sure how much the seat shells were, as they didn't come from Revenger !!!

I love the shape of Dowdy's seats, but a mate of mine has them and I wouldn't personally say they're very supportive for offshore use. Great cushioning, but no lateral support in the rough. I wouldn't want to race with them!

Just my 2p, James

K4+ high / high seats - work really well.

However my regualr up-holsterer is working abroad so can only supply shells at the moment -or maybe find another up-holsterer.

Certainly does a very good job - but a touch expensive.

Actually very difficult to make any moeny on seats. By the time I have some shells moulded and upholstered, add on some VAT and my general running around / collecting time etc and I cannot match the prices above.

All ok if it is for a boat for myself - but not so viable as a product through K4+.

Eh, less of the old, I'm only 25!! Your daughter's probably about the same age... Hows about a pic to prove her age??

I am seeing the company who made them for the Bandit next week as he wants some more. They need to be galvanised though as they rust pretty quickly. I have to solve that one as I will be needing some myself.

I will post pics after I have visited the factory.
