Has this been modified to fit a merc or is it still standard Evinrude fitment?

Hi Paul E,
The raker propellor has a mercury fitment. It was used on a XR2.

Bugger. Can anyone tell me if it'll still be usable on an Evinrude? Special spacer maybe?

Should fit straight on !! and it will give you better venting from front of hub !!

not 100% sure if it will fit straight on as bushes are different lengths. i know you cant pu an OMC bush straight on merc propshaft as the Splines and propshaft is about 3/4" shorter so some mods need doing, as for the other way round not sure on thrush washer depth and prop nut etc. something you need to try.

I'm not fussed about having to make a new thrust washer or spacer behind the nut to be honest, as long as it'll go on the splines ok I can make it work

To be honest mate, just get an OMC bush put in, by the time you piss about making washers etc you may as well just pay the bit extra and get the right bush fitted.
Just my opinion
Paul

If I made up a new thrust washer or spacer to suit then it would probably open up the world of Merc props too though? There's a lot over here I could borrow to find the best set up.

You leave the omc bush in and just machine down the hub to fit the merc, I've got 2 a 24 and 26
