Ring 20 with a 1987150 Johnson VRO & GB Watersports Trailer
Hi guys, I have a Ring 20 with a 1987 150 VRO Johnson for sale. I bought this boat back in Aug believed to be a running rig, I had no time to look at until recently due to ill health.
When I took the engine to be looked at by a Johnson specialist he told me that it was only running firing on 4 cylinders and that compressions were very low mid 60s to 75. showed some signs to wiring that could have been overheated at some point. I have decided that the costs are far to expensive to repair such an old engine.
The hull Ring 20 seems solid enough and downside is it has been painted at some point, but does look the part. it has Bernico seats x2 and a Bernico steering wheel and extended boss, it also has inboard fuel and oil tanks and ski pole. also the interior has been coated with Gel-Coat.
The trailer is a GB Watersports trailer with a new set of wheel bearings all round, done by Greg at GB Watersports, (never been in water) and also a new hitch assembly. Breaks all work as they should, the previous owner has scuffed the mudguard on one side but it is not broken.
Not to sure of value so looking for offers
