Ring 21 for sale

evinrude 2003 bombardier 200HO (3.3L, 217hp to prop) 2stroke outboard, which is the version with the factory racing gear box with short leg and stainless 25 pitch prop, and has full hydraulic steering (from wheel to engine) and foot throttle.

And this is one evinrudes modern line of engines that only need servicing every 3 years.

Engine features...

...Limp home mode, so if you pick up a bag or run out of oil it will still safely run at low power to get you home and you won't blow the engine, warning lights on dash will alert you to exact fault.

The engine is computer managed, so always starts, just like a modern car.

It's also very economical and oil is mixed independently (has a separate reservoir) and unlike mix in tank engines, does not smoke on idle as it meters the oil depending upon usage, so uses very little oil.

Boat was completely re rigged in 2003 and includes trim tabs.

Engine on gill bracket which means you also have a sun-bed. In my opinion that makes the boat look nicer and also give you heaps of storage for fenders and easy access to tab pump, fuel tank, 2stroke oil reservoir, bilge pump etc, making life easier.

The boat is an 89 hull.

Last year I hardly used the boat, but installed a automatic bilge pump, had all the rear bench seat recovered, and the front seat cushions re foamed. I also replaced the two engine trim rams.

The boat has a cover and a trailer. Last year I also spent ages repairing the trailer, which had rotted in a few places, so extensive work and consisted of a new axle, a repaint ensued.

Kit includes anchor and anchor line.

Currently using 3 sand bags up front for ballast (far too many), shoved up there for a poker run on a bad day. Still achieves a genuine 65mph+ with all that weight up there so the right conditions , no weight and 70 should be possible .

Overall it's a good boat and still is the most reliable boat I have ever owned.

The boat would really benefit from a bow tank, so I bought one with lever and water pickup, not installed but is included in sale.

Price: £7,000

If interested PM me.
