Let's put this in "Black and White" then.
There are many people in the sport that are not impressed with your "alleged" behaviour before Christmas.
Because of the "allegations", the racers and others do not think you are fit or wise to be holding your job as chairman of the ORC.
Please resign, and come back stronger in a couple of years time - Do a Peter Mandelson!
It would help the sport and you!

Unless you are prepared to substantiate these statements and put names to sources may I suggest that this game of Chinese whispers ends, as at no time have I ever tried to stop any event from happening. and as for your statement about the L/MC - I haven't got a clue what you are talking about - I assume you mean the London Monte Carlo but you could be referring to the Liverpool Manchester Canal for all I know.
I have made no statements regarding any of this season's racing apart from to do my best to ensure safe racing with maximum entrants.
And just for the record my personal life or my career has nothing to do with small minded bigots like you. You have no right to judge me as you have never met me and to the best of my knowledge I have never been unlucky enough to meet you.

I would hazard a guess that you didn't write that post.
I would also say that trying to show a bit of RYA 'muscle' and solidarity to quell things, won't do your cause any good at all!

You say you have nothing to be ashamed of???????????
You are not ashamed that you are using your position for your OWN, not powerboatings end...................
You are not ashamed that you are putting an Island championship in jepordy, but sticking your oar in??
The fact that the organisers have paid and arranged hotels and transport for the Official RYA Observer for the whole series a Gentleman listed in PB1 as an Observer, yet YOU now say, I can only assume to get free hols and top up your tan, is not experienced enough for the task that the RYA has publicaly stated he is................................................ in PB1
You are not embarased that you have in the past tried every trick in the book to de-rail RB08 create as much confusion as possible; bent and changed rules and now you want to be the RYA Observer for the event which I know the drivers and officials are horrified at.
To also get Terry Herring, a man I have great respect for, as a second Observer for the RB08 who didn't come out of the '91 public enquiry unscathed.
Now can you please tell me how in the hell this incredibly Historic event can be observed by someone like yourself?
You still haven't answered any of the question I and others have raised, including what you have on Mr P to be in a position to make these decision ALONE.

Tim, Just remember, it's never too late to take the opportunity to expand your vocabulary
Did you try 1471 to get the little darling's number? We could all have a go back...

I totally agree with you,
I think some here knew what he had been up to at Christmas.
He seems to be a real story teller reading this stuff here.

Ladies and Gentlemen
OK - answers to Kev's questions:
A. Yes - I was a 747 Captain for many years and hold an CAA and an FAA ATPL.
B. Yes - I hold a CAA and an FAA Commercial Helicopter's pilot licence.
C. No, I have never flown Concorde or been on board Concorde. Would have love to - but there you go.
D. Yes - I have been known to fly by the seat of my pants when all the instrumentation goes down - but that was what I was paid for.
E. As I have not been married since 2001 and that was to Caroline.
F. No, I am certainly not a ventriloquist's dummy. Anyone who knows me personally will know that there is no way that statement is possibly true.
Right - let's just put this into perspective - my address and telephone number are in PB1 for anybody who would like to visit me to see documentation to prove the above. I would be more than happy to see anybody who wants evidence.
As for Mr Tim B-C insinuating that I phoned him every 20 minutes all night long - (a) I don't who are and (b) I have no telephone number for you and (c) I have been out of the country since Friday morning and have only just got back.
If the allegations that have been levelled at me are correct - I would not have been allowed to leave the UK. Unlike other people on this website, I do not hide and everybody knows who I am and where to find me.
I find it interesting that people who are posting on this subject are only very recent members who are remaining anonymous and are hiding their true identity.
I only posted a "For Sale" concerning manuals - why has this become personal?
